Matrix Provides Support Services for Licensed Site Professionals and Sole Practitioners

East Florham, NJ - Matrix New World Engineering, Inc. (Matrix), in collaboration with Lockwood Remediation Technologies (LRT), is proud to announce that is providing support services for Licensed Site Professionals and sole practitioners.

Matrix and LRT will provide support to LSP's and sole practitioners for:
> Adequate peer review of MCP submittals
> Human health and ecological risk assessment services for complex sites
> Peer review of remedial design and selected technologies, including cost analysis and reduction
> Construction-ready remedial designs
> Construction and start-up of the selected remedial design/technology
> Site dewatering, including temporary groundwater treatment
> Short and long term treatment system operation and Management

The support team includes highly experienced practitioners:

Kevin Scully, PG, LSP has more than 25 years of experience working for both private clients and government agencies performing environmental and geophysical investigations. His expertise includes the management and execution of oil and hazardous material investigations CERCLA, RCRA, and MCP sites. His work experience includes due diligence investigations; borehole geophysical investigations; DNAPL investigations; emergency response activities for fuel spills; and the design and execution of groundwater quality and aquifer characterization investigations. He is also responsible for environmental compliance during construction activities for major design and construction efforts at Brownfields sites.

Patrick Hunnewell has 19 years of experience with both an environmental consultanting firms and as an environmental contractor. He specializes design, installation and operation of groundwater treatment systems using technologies such as air sparging, soil vapor extraction, air stripping, liquid and vapor phase carbon, metals precipitation, oil/water separation, pH adjustment and filtration; design and installation of wastewater treatment systems (500,000 gpd and less) and potable water distribution systems (1,400,000 mgd and less); design and installation of recovery wells and header lines utilized to supply contaminated groundwater and soil vapor to treatment systems; soil excavation, transportation and disposal projects; temporary dewatering and treatment systems associated with soil excavation projects: implementation of various dual phase extraction and soil vapor extraction pilot testing procedures; and the operation and maintenance (O&M) of various treatment facilities.

Alan Parsons, PhD has over 27 years of professional experience in the areas of strategic environmental liability management, natural resource damage assessment (NRDA), ecological and human health risk assessment, risk communications, ecotoxicology, animal biochemistry, and physiology, as well as litigation support and expert testimony.

Paul Lockwood has 19 years of remediation, dewatering and wastewater treatment experience. Paul's clients include environmental consulting and engineering firms, general contractors and large industrial clients. Mr. Lockwood has proficient working knowledge of US EPA Regulations and the State Environmental Regulations for Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York State.

LRT specializes in the "turnkey" approach to projects and can design, install, rent and assist in the operation, optimization and maintenance of provided systems. LRT manufactures and is a distributor for many of the consumable items used on projects
