Thomas DeMichele of Matrix New World Engineering, Inc. (Matrix), was approved by the New Jersey Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board (SRPLB)

Matrix's Senior Project Manager Thomas C. DeMichele, LSRP was approved by the New Jersey Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board (SRPLB) as a permanent LSRP. As outlined in the Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA), LSRPs will directly oversee and manage site remediation in New Jersey, and issue 'Response Action Outcomes' (RAOs) upon satisfactory completion of remediation, consistent with New Jersey's Technical Requirements for Site Remediation.

Mr. DeMichele has over 24 years of experience in environmental investigation and remediation services. His responsibilities have included planning and directing soil, surface water, groundwater, and bedrock investigations for environmental projects and oversight of underground storage tank (UST) and aboveground storage tank (AST) decommissioning in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

He has participated in complex environmental and engineering programs which have required detailed cost-control programs and multi-disciplinary staffing. Tom is also a licensed N-2 Industrial Wastewater Operator, Subsurface Evaluator, and UST Closure in the State of New Jersey. He holds a BS degree in Biology from Maxwell Becton College of Liberal Arts, Fairleigh Dickinson University. Mr. DeMichele has been actively managing LSRP cases since 2009.

Formed in 1990, Matrix, a woman-owned engineering and environmental services firm. It provides environmental, geotechnical, and civil engineering, land surveying, and spill response services in the Northeast. It has also expanded into Phoenix, AZ, Baton Rouge, LA, and Irvine, CA.
